In the realm of spirit animals, the Hawk is a symbol of the divine power of the Sun. The gods of the Sun and Sky among different peoples were depicted in the form of this bird or next to it. This meant that their Power manifested like the power of a hawk. That They are strong, courageous, militant, victorious, fearless, that they are able to see what others do not even notice and achieve what others cannot do, that they are more important and higher than the rest. In fact, this is the manifestation of the Totem Hawk itself. Therefore, it is one of the sacred Totems.
The bird of prey, resembling the appearance of a hawk, strikes with majesty. Beautiful appearance, bewitching flight, intelligence are combined with a completely unusual bird voice, similar to meowing. Therefore, the name of buzzards came from the verb “buzz”, i.e. mourn piteously, weep, whine. Otherwise, a feathered predator is called a buzzard.
