Shama-thrushes, or magpie warblers (Copsychus), are a genus of songbirds from the flycatcher family (Muscicapidae), living in tropical regions of Africa and Asia. In addition to their remarkable coloration, most of their species are distinguished by their excellent singing and therefore are considered one of the best feathered singers in the world. The magpie shama thrush, among other things, is the national bird of Bangladesh.
