Partridge’s foot in Scotland is an ancient protective amulet and hunter’s brooch. It can be worn by both women and men and will look equally good on an evening dress and a business suit (Sharon Stone managed to combine this).
Similar brooches were made according to the same type – the partridge’s foot was properly processed and taken into a silver or silver alloy frame, the leg was decorated with a deer’s head (not necessarily, but often) with a large amethyst in the horns. A kind of ring was worn on the middle finger.
